about the owners
I am excited to share with you all of the wonderful team members at all of the locations of Rue 48 Salon! I have been in the hair industry for several years now experiencing and creating several designer cuts, colors, and styles through fashion trends. I love the artistry of hair and highlighting individual unique features as well as individual styles. I myself love fashion-forward trends in clothing, hair, and make-up. Owning Rue 48 Salons for the last 12 years have instilled in me the importance of commitment to the community as well as our clients. There is something for everyone at Rue 48 Salons!
Rebecca Yarwood is a graduate of the Aveda Institute. She has worked behind the chair as a Master Stylist, and as a Stylist Educator and Trainer for more than twenty-five years.
As her career advanced, Rebecca developed a passion for the art of hair color and a love for teaching. This led her to a position with Aveda, where she served as Regional Hair Color Educator for thirteen years. Rebecca traveled the upper Midwest where she taught Stylists and mentored Stylist Educators in their own salons. Rebecca’s philosophy is that the teacher is also the student. She appreciates that through educating others, she continues to stretch her own skill-set and grow her artistry, and she gains satisfaction from sharing this insight with other Stylists.
Rebecca is thrilled to be joining the Rue 48 team, leveraging her many talents and experiences in her roles as Owner, Manager and Stylist for Rue 48 Salons.
